Adjusting to working from home can be a difficult transition. It’s important to keep a routine and create as much normalcy as possible. Many of us are figuring out our new normal as we navigate through staying at home. Below are some tips that our Kut team has collected to help you be just as productive in your work routine.

1. Get Ready for the Day

Start your day by putting on a fresh outfit. This can instantly be a mood booster and set you up for success.

2. Create a Workspace

It’s important to have a consistent workspace to go to each day. This will help you separate work from home and remove any distractions.

3. Make a Schedule 

Scheduling out your day will keep you on track and help you prioritize tasks.

4. Take a Lunch Break

When you’re working from home, it’s easy to lose track of time. You get to your desk at 9:00 AM and the next thing you know it’s 3:00 PM and you haven’t looked up from your computer. It’s important to take a break, stretch, and reset your mind to get in the right headspace.

5. Establish Working Hours

It can be easy to carry over your work into late hours of the night. Remember to treat this as a normal work day. It’s important to take time to wind down at the end of the day. Make sure your giving yourself the time you need to recharge.
